Fun Lightning Competition

20 juniors competed in our festive 10-second buzzer lightning competition at the Elstead Hotel. Festive dress code was encouraged!

Gold and silver medals were awarded based on the weekly ladder board competition. 1st through 5th place received medals in the lightning event, and all attendees took home certificates of excellence.

A huge thank you to our support team: Graham, Steve, Paul Errington, Dee Sachs, and members of Poole Chess Club who helped make this event possible.

Our regular Saturday sessions began on 22 May 2021 and ran through to this end of year celebration.
