Bournemouth Junior Chess club continues to welcome all levels & ages to come and enjoy learning and playing chess and long may it continue.

This Saturday we had a bumper number of 28 students to learn and play chess.

• We said goodbye and good luck to Tristan who has come along for 5 years and developed into a good strong player. He used chess as one of his Duke of Edinburgh subjects which I was more than happy to approve.

• We welcomed back Sarah for her 2^nd session – she is only 7 years old and showing good early signs of promise.
• Tony’s input of games for our 1^st session advanced players

• Eric took the beginners section in Steve’s absence and enjoyed showing a standard K pawn opening to Kit/Liam and Sarah
• Martin and Paul took the intermediates through middle game tactics and played some games with them.

2^nd Session games
