Apologies for the late issue – better late than never.

We had the benefit or 20 Juniors that came along to learn and play chess.

Tony took the advanced session of 6 juniors through various puzzles at different levels

Graham/Paul and Martin went through middle game tactics with the intermediate section.

Steve gave his 100% expertise to Omer who is a beginner. I hope he will be able to remember some of the benefits when he comes next week.

The 2^nd session was taken by Graham/Martin and Paul who had a small group to teach.

David/Sepanta and Andres seem to be learning and developing with Steve in the 2^nd session beginners group. They are playing competitive games now which is encouraging.

There were some good games played and we are encouraging all players to look at the time control during the games as two matches were drawn in winning positions. Much to learn.

Many thanks to Graham Hillman for standing in for me whilst I was on holiday and I will be back this coming Saturday for the coming weeks to Xmas.

Also, thanks to our team of Steve/Paul/Graham and Tony for supporting the club. Without all being present we could not manage the numbers.
