Final week fun event & Christmas competition
For our final week we will have a blitz 5 min competition allocated between advanced and others in 2 sections.
The allocation will be arranged in accordance with the ladder board final week at 10/12/22.
The session will start at 10 am for both sections and we request you arrive by 9.55 for registration and we hope to have up to 10 rounds dependent on time but will finish by 12.30 latest.
This will be followed by prizegiving for the event and prizes for the ladder board winners.
We plan to have light refreshments to enjoy during the morning but if you wish to supplement it with your own, please feel free to do so.
Xmas dress is encouraged!
As all parents have paid in advance for this event there is no need to additionally confirm you are coming but if for any reason you cannot make it, please let me know as we will want to make the 1st round pairings by Friday pm.
As always thank you for supporting our junior chess club and a reminder chess is such a great way for children to develop their mind skills and chess is for life.
