FINAL WEEK 19 JULY 2025

T shirts and shorts the order of a beautiful summer day and we welcomed 25 students to come and play chess, I think the beach was on the agenda for most after the club.

We welcomed Bharani for the 1st time and hope he will continue and enjoyed the session.

Tony gave a Simul to 6 players in the short time available and ran round the boards in record time. Congratulations to Nicolas for winning and Rafan/Peter and Lathujan who had drawn positions when we had to finish.

Many thanks to Tony for managing the advanced group with his variety of puzzles and improving the players during all the sessions.

We welcomed back Steve (guest appearance) to give his best with the beginners in both sessions and we wish him well for all his activities in the summer. Today he managed Kit/Nilay/Mariella/Manvik and Holly over both sessions.
